Unplanned Changes or Cancellation of the Scheduled Course

It is very unlikely that we shall have to change the course venue or cancel the scheduled course; however, we reserve the right to do so in case of natural calamities or similar circumstances.

If the Training Program/Retreat is cancelled by Sarvaguna Yoga, we will:

  • Refund 100% of the fee paid by the applicant, or
  • Offer an alternate placement.

Sarvaguna Yoga is not responsible for any other cancellations such as flights or any other expenses incurred by the applicant.

Teaching Staff Reshuffle

Due to unavoidable circumstances, organisational issues, or teachers’ personal commitments, teaching staff may change at certain times.

However, Sarvaguna Yoga strives to provide the best teachers for teacher training programs in the best interests of the students and the school. Any decision in this regard by Sarvaguna management is final.

Attendance

Sarvaguna Yoga is a registered Yoga School conducting professional Yoga Teacher Training courses and issues certificates recognized globally.

Therefore, 100% attendance is required in order to receive certification. Our programs are intensive and demand compulsory attendance for all contact hours of training.

In case of continuous absence (except for serious medical conditions), the participant may not receive certification and additional hours of study in a future training may be required.

If a student has minor sickness and cannot practice intense Asana classes, we strongly encourage them to attend and observe the teachings. Observing the class can still help students assimilate the teachings.

Punctuality

Students are requested to arrive for classes at least 10 minutes in advance and be settled before the class begins.

Do not enter the class if you are late without prior permission from the teacher. Late arrival is considered disrespectful to the group and teachings and may result in non-admission into the class.

Maintenance of Silence

Students are strongly recommended to observe silence throughout the course, especially during morning meditation hours.

The practice of silence is highly valued in the Yogic tradition as it helps students assimilate and imbibe the essence of yoga.

Health and Fitness Issues

Yoga students are expected to take responsibility for themselves and are solely responsible for their own safety, health, and general well-being during the training program.

The Yoga and Meditation practices during the training period are intensive and physically and mentally challenging.

Therefore, Sarvaguna Yoga training programs are suitable only for physically healthy and mentally stable individuals.

The programs are not suitable for people who are rehabilitating from severe physical or psychological conditions or those on medication for such conditions, unless under supervision of a doctor or psychologist.

Our yoga teacher training programs are also not suitable for pregnant women except in the case of prenatal yoga courses.

Please inform the senior teacher prior to the course of:

  • Any injuries
  • Ailments
  • Disabilities
  • Medications you are taking
  • Any other condition that may affect participation

Always take preventive measures and avoid pushing yourself beyond your limits. Stop practicing immediately if you experience pain or sickness.

In case of medical problems or emotional crisis, we will assist by arranging medical advice, doctors, therapists, or spiritual counsellors.

Liability Release

Sarvaguna Yoga management or its staff are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, sickness, illness, or medical or psychiatric conditions developed prior to, during, or after the course.

Students must sign a liability release form on arrival confirming they are physically and psychologically fit for intensive practices.

Without signing the liability release form, participation in the course will not be permitted.

Sarvaguna Yoga is also not responsible for delays, cancellations, changes or losses caused by:

  • Natural disasters

  • Airport closures
  • Civil unrest
